THE SMILE THAT LED TO PREGNANCY
it was just a weekend
just an ordinary night
the town was awake
flashes and lights
screams and joy,
in the air everywhere
she was new
new to the lights
new to the glamor
new to the fast life
she felt the freedom
no don’ts
no restriction
she felt it’s time to let herself go
go and enjoy her youthful
go and explore the fun life
he was there somewhere
he wasn’t new to the glamor
he gave the smile
she smiled back
a few compliments
just a dance no big deal
just one glass it won’t hurt
then came the second and third
next minute she felt it
it really hurt
she was new
new to that kind of pain
mixed feelings
both pain and pleasure
but she wanted to explore
here is some guy
an explorer
he explored her
she was happy
but
she woke up after a week and felt the changes
strange headaches and strange cravings
she thought back
yes that little smile brought about a being growing in her
that smile surely led to pregnancy
